At Alfaddo Art Studio Inc. in Lawrenceville, GA, going green has a whole new meaning. The art available for purchase is created with the environment in mind, crafted by using recycled pieces of sawdust to create unique pieces depicting African culture and subject matters. The artist behind the work is Alfred Addo. Although born into an artistic family, he didn’t start to seriously pursue art until 1996 after quitting college. Founding Alfaddo Art Studio in 2004, each art piece is hand-crafted to create a wide selection of items for customers. Among the pieces created are pictures of African wildlife and culture. There is also a selection of geometric designs and patterns in colors ranging from gold, purple, red, and blue.
